Tourism Community Champions
Community leaders across Saskatchewan are discovering that tourism can play a dynamic role in their local economies.
This workshop is designed to assist you in becoming more knowledgeable about the economic benefits of tourism, and a more informed champion for tourism growth in your community.
Topics discussed at the workshop include:
- how communities benefit from tourism and its value.
- how the tourism sector is structured.
- how to implement existing tourism plans and strategies.
- how to access resources available in your community.
- how to assess the local environment from a business and political perspective.
This 1 1/2 day workshop is free and is open to anyone who wants to contribute to the growth and development of their community through tourism.
