Workshops are interactive, involving both group discussions and facilitated activities that fully engage participants in the learning process. This provides opportunities for practice within the workshop. Workbooks of 50-100 pages are distributed. Workshops do not usually involve
certification, though this option may be available.
Is there an enrollment requirement to register for a workshop?
Yes, we require a minimum of 15 participants to deliver a
workshop and a maximum of 25. Smaller businesses and organizations can work together to ensure minimum enrollment requirements are met.
Workshops vary in length. Some are a total of three hours, while others may last one or two days. Workshops like
Workplace Trainer are three-hour sessions that run once a week for eight weeks.
What are my responsibilities when contracting a workshop?
You are responsible for:
- recruiting the required number of participants.
- providing an appropriate space to deliver the training.
- providing lunch if required.
- supplying any audio-visual equipment that is needed by the facilitator.
Are registrations for workshops final?
In the case of
workshop registrations, all sales are final. Substitution for original person(s) registered is at the discretion of the Training Department.
