 Recognition Certificates
 
There are four recognition certificates you can achieve at various stages in your career.
 
Tourism Essentials Certificate - The Tourism Essentials Certificate is most useful in the pre-employment stage.  It can also be very beneficial if you are starting a new career in tourism or if you are a new Canadian or a foreign-trained professional planning on immigrating to Canada and working in the tourism sector.  To learn more about the Tourism Essentials Certificate, click here.
 
Occupational Knowledge Certificate - The Occupational Knowledge Certificate is recognition that you have mastered the knowledge requirements for a specific occupation.  You will be tested against the standards for your occupation in a multiple-choice exam.  To learn more about the Occupational Knowledge Certificate, click here.
 
Occupational Experience Certificate - The Occupational Experience Certificate is recommended if you have earned three to four months of on-the-job practical experience.  To learn more about the Occupational Experience Certificate, click here.
