Ambassador Awards
Ambassador Awards are presented annually to outstanding certified professionals who demonstrate exemplary dedication to professional development in Saskatchewan’s tourism sector. Each Ambassador Award winner must:
- be certified in a tourism occupation.
- embody the values of certification.
- be active in tourism.
- exhibit ongoing commitment to professionalism in tourism.
Awards are available for each industry within the tourism sector, including accommodation, food and beverage services, recreation and entertainment, transportation, and travel services.
Awards are also presented for “Excellence in Tourism Education” and for outstanding dedication to the tourism sector. These awards do not require recipients to be certified in a tourism occupation.
