A Casino Slot Attendant provides a variety of guest services on the gaming floor, from explaining games to maintaining slot machines.  With emerit Casino Slot Attendant training, you'll:
 
  • discuss the critical elements of guest services on the gaming floor, including making a positive impression, serving guests, and anticipating any special requests/needs.
  • identify the daily operating responsibilities, from managing floats to processing jackpots.
 
To receive Professional Certification as a Casino Slot Attendant, you must successfully complete an occupational knowledge exam, performance evaluation, and work experience.
 
Occupational Knowledge Exam: This 100-question multiple choice exam is based on the National Occupational Standard for Casino Slot Attendants.
 
Performance Evaluation: The performance evaluation consists of a reference check with your supervisor/manager and a qualified evaluator who will observe you on-the-job. 
 
Work Experience: You must complete at least three months/500 qualified hours as a Casino Slot Attendant.
 
Prerequisites: You must hold a current provincial casino gaming license.
