A Bartender is a professional service attendant who:
 
  • interacts with staff and guests in a positive and professional manner.
  • maintains a neat and clean work area.
  • mixes and prepares beverages for guests and staff.
  • collects payments and records sales.
  • maintains inventory and stock.
 
emerit Bartender training will teach you the skills you need to perform your job like a professional, enhance your beverage knowledge by providing valuable information on popular drink recipes, and increase their marketability by helping you develop a wide range of transferable skills. 
 
To receive Professional Certification as a Bartender, you must successfully complete an occupational knowledge exam, performance evaluation, and work experience.
 
Occupational Knowledge Exam: This 100-question multiple choice exam is based on the National Occupational Standard for Bartenders.
 
Performance Evaluation: The performance evaluation is conducted by a qualified evaluator who will observe you on-the-job.  The evaluation is based on selected skills from a performance review/checklist.
 
Work Experience: You must complete 1,200* qualified hours of experience as a Bartender prior to the performance evaluation.
