We offer this workshop to ensure that RTW participants continue to develop their knowledge, skills, and attitude with supervisors and managers who understand adult learning principles, cultural sensitivity, and effective coaching strategies.
Upon completion of the workshop, supervisors and managers continue to work not only with RTW trainees, but also with existing employees, utilizing national standards and workbooks to develop a more effective training culture within their operation.
Over 80 supervisors and managers involved in the Ready to Work – Tourism Careers program have participated in the Workplace Trainer workshop.
Workplace Trainer made me aware of the way that adults learn and showed me concrete ways to apply these principles to workplace training.
