The Workplace Trainer workshop is offered to supervisors and managers participating in the Ready to Work - Tourism Careers (RTW) program.  This workshop introduces the tourism sector’s National Occupational Standards to many workplaces for the first time.

 

We offer this workshop to ensure that RTW participants continue to develop their knowledge, skills, and attitude with supervisors and managers who understand adult learning principles, cultural sensitivity, and effective coaching strategies.

 

Upon completion of the workshop, supervisors and managers continue to work not only with RTW trainees, but also with existing employees, utilizing national standards and workbooks to develop a more effective training culture within their operation.
