Maple Creek
Location: Maple Creek is located in southwest Saskatchewan between Regina and Calgary. It is only 20 miles north of Cypress Hills Interprovincial Park, which has been described as “one of Saskatchewan’s most beautiful all-season resorts”. Although Maple Creek is located along the Trans-Canada highway, a more interesting road to travel is the Horseshoe Scenic Route. Chinook winds from the Canadian and American Rocky Mountains regularly pass through Maple Creek, causing its winters to be warmer than in the rest of Saskatchewan’s southern region.
