Cando

Location: Cando is a village in west central Saskatchewan, located between North Battleford and Saskatoon.  Most settlers who moved to the area in the 1900s originated from Cando, North Dakota.  One of the earliest colonizers was a man by the name of Charlie Edwards, who opened the first post office of the area on a homestead he named Cando.  After the first train arrived in 1913, Edwards moved from the country to the village, which soon adopted the Cando name.
