Scholarships

Tourism Saskatchewan is dedicated to developing and promoting the tourism sector with its far-reaching opportunities.  A scholarship of $500 is awarded annually to a Recreation & Tourism Management student at the Saskatchewan Institute of Applied Science and Technology (SIAST) with a minimum weighted average of 70%.  A second scholarship of $500 is awarded to a student enrolled in the Adventure Tourism & Outdoor Recreation program at Lakeland College, Vermillion Campus, in Lloydminster.

In addition to academics, selection is based on demonstrated involvement and interest in working in one of the five industries of tourism (accommodation, food and beverage services, recreation and entertainment, transportation, and travel services).
