Career Fairs 2009

 

In 2009, we participated in the following career fairs.

 

Offers new career choices by exposing students to careers they may not have considered.

 

Students meet with prospective employers from across the province.

 

This is the largest education and career fair in east central Saskatchewan.  The event was attended by over 40 organizations and more than 600 students, teachers, and guidance counsellors from 21 high schools.

 

Job seekers from Swift Current and surrounding area meet with employers, recruiters, and schools.

 

Students from Assiniboia and surrounding area discuss career options with colleges, universities, and businesses from the prairie provinces and North Dakota.

 

Offers new career choices to students by exposing them to careers they may not have considered.

 

Provides job seekers at the institute an opportunity to meet with employers and recruiters prior to graduation.

 

Job seekers meet with employers and recruiters.

 

Creates  networking opportunities between educational institutions, employers, and students from across the province.

This interactive career fair introduces Aboriginal youth to traditional and non-traditional occupations.  Over 80 employers from across the province attended this career fair.

 

The 14^th annual National Job Fair and Training Expo featured more than 150 exhibitors from across the nation and had record-breaking attendance of approximately 13,500 people.

 

Features employers with a commitment to creating a representative workforce and service providers with information on the accommodation industry and funding opportunities.
